On 5 October 2023, the inauguration ceremony of the new academic year 2023/2024 was held at the seat of the Christian Academy of Theology in Warsaw at 48 Broniewskiego Street.
In accordance with the tradition of our Academy, the inauguration ceremony was preceded by an ecumenical service, which began at 9:00 a.m. The service was celebrated by clergymen representing three denominational traditions: Evangelical, Orthodox and Old Catholic.
At 10 a.m., the Inauguration ceremony of the academic year 2023/2024 at the Christian Academy of Theology in Warsaw began with the singing of the National Anthem.
The ceremony was presided over by His Magnificence Archbishop Prof. Jerzy (Pańkowski), Rector of the Christian Academy of Theology in Warsaw, who welcomed the heads of Churches affiliated to the Polish Ecumenical Council, representatives of state authorities, parliamentarians, diplomats, local authorities, rectors of Warsaw universities, clergy, staff, graduates and students of the Christian Academy of Theology in Warsaw.
This year, the Inauguration ceremony was accompanied by an exhibition: 2023 The Year of Jerzy Nowosielski. The exhibition is located on the first floor of the ChAT headquarters.
