The organisers: the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Christian Academy of Theology in Warsaw (Department of Pedagogy of Religion and Culture), the Polish Ecumenical Council (Commission for Christian Education), the Warsaw School of Theology and Social Sciences (Institute of Pedagogy of Religion with Ethics) held a National Scientific and Methodological Conference on May 11 this year in hybrid form (in the building of the CHAT and on the ZOOM platform): ‘Pedagogy of religion and culture in the perspective of socialisation and existential needs of students’.
Thirteen speakers discussed the theme of noticing the needs of the other in the world as an important social task.
The themes of the conference were part of the general conceptual assumptions of contemporary pedagogy of religion and, because of its connection with the general problems of education, also referred to the pedagogy of culture.
